The Ambassador Hotel - Milwaukee is a member of the Historic Hotels of America and a landmark in Milwaukee. Authentic memorabilia, including original Envoy Lounge drink menus, are displayed on a wall in the hotel’s lobby.
At the time of its opening in 1928, the hotel featured many of the hallmarks of Art Deco design, including marble and terrazzo floors, stylized polished nickel sconces, bronze elevator doors, and ornate plasterwork. Its former décor, hidden under decades of modifications, has been restored over the past decade, revealing intricate details and vintage built-in radios.
The hotel provides complimentary parking and shuttle service throughout downtown Milwaukee.
